Information you give us. Your email address if you submit it to our newsletter form, and anything you include when you contact us.

Information collected automatically. Standard analytics — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and referring site.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, health information about you or your child.

Why we process it

To contact you about the newsletter you registered interest in (consent — withdrawable at any time)
To understand which articles are useful and improve them (legitimate interest)
To operate and secure the site (legitimate interest)

Service providers acting on our instructions:

Discord — our newsletter form currently records submitted email addresses to a private internal channel. We have not yet launched the newsletter and are not using an email marketing platform, so no address has been added to a mailing list.
Vercel — hosting and performance measurement
PostHog — product analytics

We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies for essential site function, analytics and advertising. Manage your preferences at cookie settings; see our cookie policy for the detail.

Email addresses submitted to the newsletter form are kept until you ask us to delete them or until the newsletter launches, at which point you will be asked to confirm before receiving anything. Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Children

This site is for parents and carers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
