Hannah has spent nine years reporting on health research for consumer audiences, with the last four focused almost entirely on the first thousand days. She is particularly interested in the gap between what paediatric research actually shows and what parents are told — a gap that tends to be widest on the topics that cause the most anxiety.
Before joining The Baby Insider she wrote about clinical research for a national health title, where she covered the evidence base behind infant sleep advice. She works closely with our medical review team and does not publish clinical guidance without a clinician's sign-off.
She lives in Dublin with her partner and two children, and has personally survived two sleep regressions.
